First Program Management Committee Meeting
The first China-Australia Integrated Health and HIV Program Management Committee (PMC) meeting was successfully held on October 18, 2007 in Beijing at China Ministry of Health. The PMC members are AusAID, MOFCOM, DOHA, MOH,and were represented by Mr. Peter Jensen, Ms. Wei Lai, Ms. Penelope Ngui, and Mr. Ren Minghui. Mr. Peter Jensen from AusAID and Dr. Ren Minghui from MOH jointly chaired the meeting, and Mr. Murray Proctor, the deputy director general of AusAID; Ms. Carolyn Bull, the director of Asia Economic Section of AusAID, Ms. Kirsty Dudgeon, First secretary of AusAID Beijing, and Ms. Anne Rigby, Program Manager of Asia Economic Section of AusAID and the two Senior Health Advisors, Dr Michael Fett, and Ms Ge Lijun, also took part.
The meeting reviewed the Program progress to date, discussing and endorsing the first Facility Review and Implementation Plan (FRIP), which outlined CAHHF working procedures and set out an implementation plan for the FMT.
