Participating "The Great Wall AIDS Walk"
UNAIDS and China Red Cross Foundation jointly organized "The Great AIDS Walk" at Juyongguan Great Wall on December 2, 2007. The aim of this activity was to create wide awareness of the HIV issues in China, and mobilize leaders in various sectors. Important leaders from the government, the world of sport, multilateral organizations, the private sector, NGOs, mass organizations, organizations of people living with HIV and individual citizens were encouraged to participate. In this way they were given the opportunity to illustrate their commitment to the HIV response.
In order to publicize CAHHF, as well as actively participate in this activity organized by UNAIDS, all members of the CAHHF FMT took part in the Campaign, and developed a display board and brochures to provide CAHHF information to the participants.
